Introduction:
The Institute for Christianity and Chinese Culture began its planning in May 2018 and was originally scheduled to be established in January 2020. However, due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, its establishment was postponed.
In June 2020, the institute was officially founded on the occasion of hosting the "Classical and Modern—Christianity and Chinese Scholarship Symposium."
The institute organizes a "Theologians' Forum" on a monthly basis and hosts annual academic conferences and public lectures, primarily focusing on the relationship between Christianity and Chinese culture. Through these activities, it aims to connect global Chinese-speaking theologians engaged in theological and Christian thought research, collectively realizing the vision of embedding the Christian faith into Chinese society and culture.
